The team that brought you Old Tomorrow Canadian Pale Ale introduces a high-spirited collaboration with Jon Montgomery, Olympic Gold Medalist and host of The Amazing Race Canada, called Monty’s Golden Ryed Ale, now available in LCBO stores.
In this ground-breaking alliance, Jon joined one of Ontario’s newest craft beer companies, Old Tomorrow, to create a handcrafted ale aged in ryed oak to celebrate his iconic “golden skeleton ride.” Monty’s has a laid back flavour and smooth mellow character.
“There’s no better way to celebrate life’s victories than with a nice tall cold one,” said Montgomery. “I’m thrilled to work with Old Tomorrow to create Monty’s as we share a deep love for the values that make Canada great.”
Launch events will be held at 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m on both Thursday, November 26 at the Queen’s Quay LCBO (2 Cooper Street) and Friday, November 27 at Barrack Street LCBO (34 Barrack Street).
“Jon is a true modern-day Canadian hero who inspires us all,” says Ian Macdonald, Old Tomorrow co-founder.“Monty’s reflects Jon’s passion for great beer with its easy-going flavour perfect for celebrating life’s victories.”
