Since Spring has sprung, New Belgium Brewing released their Spring seasonal, Hoppy Blonde Ale. It’s light and refreshing with a sessionable rush of hops that is perfect for the warmer weather that’s in store. This easy to drink beer takes a leap into the tropics with its immediate rush of hops, which then softens into a light and refreshing finish. The carefully selected malt base of the beer combines with notes of mango, lemon, blueberry, and pine as a result of Mosaic, UK Admiral and Centennial dry-hopping. Hoppy Blonde is medium bodied and pours golden, with a toasty sweetness, tropical fruity aroma, and an approachable bitter end; ultimately, a sessionable blonde ale with a head rush of hops.
“Blonde ales offer the ideal beer for every occasion and for everyone,” said Lauren Salazar, New Belgium’s specialty brand manager and blender. “Hoppy Blonde is super easy drinking, flavorful and refreshing, yet it still has a hop base that even the biggest hops fans will enjoy.”
