Motley Brews’ fourth annual Downtown Brew Festival (DBF) will take over the Clark County Amphitheater on Saturday Oct. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m., creating an intimate backyard party packed with non-stop live entertainment, beer-inspired menus created by Las Vegas’ top chefs and over 200 tasty brews from more than 60 local, national and international breweries.
Each year, Motley Brews brings a variety of craft beer favorites to the city, allowing festival goers the opportunity to sample brews from not only Las Vegas breweries, but regional and national craft breweries as well. New and returning breweries include Acoustic Ales, Ballast Point, Chaucer’s Cellars, Founder’s Brewing Co., Left Hand Brewing Company, Modern Times, Pizza Port Brewing Company, Shades of Pale, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, Stone Brewing Company and many more.
This year’s festival will continue to highlight the fusion between the craft beer and culinary industries as prominent Las Vegas chefs prepare craft beer-inspired dishes, designed to perfectly enhance each brew. Chefs will introduce festival goers to new experiences with dishes created specifically to emphasize the unique blends and aromas of the featured brews. Guests will have the opportunity to adventure through Festaurant Row while sampling dishes from some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, including menu items from Itsy Bitsy Ramen & Whisky and Truck U Barbecue. More information on participating restaurants will be made available in the coming weeks.
“The culinary and music elements are just as important as the selection of beer at the Downtown Brew Festival,” said Brian Chapin, founder of Motley Brews. “We want to create a complete experience for our supporters by incorporating dishes from Las Vegas’ top restaurants. This year’s festival will give our guests the chance to really expand their experience with a diverse selection dishes inspired and sometimes infused with craft beer.”
Adding to the culinary adventure, VIP ticket holders will enjoy a renewed VIP Pavilion experience with a focus on providing an exclusive tasting of rare pours and specialty beers while sampling an assortment of small bites prepared especially for them. Chef Sam Marvin of Echo and Rig and Chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg of Blue Ribbon Restaurants will prepare special samples of their most famous dishes for VIP guests to enjoy.
Adding to the backyard atmosphere, nonstop entertainment from Pumpkin and Vokab Kompany will bring a new sound to the evening. Guests will enjoy Pumpkin’s self proclaimed “indie love song remixes” and dance the night away to Vokab Kompany’s innovative sound that combines hip-hop, electronic and funk music.
