This is nice news for fans of real ale and/or heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

According to Bravewords.com

According to Morningadvertiser.co.uk, IRON MAIDEN’s Trooper Beer has sold 3.5 million pints without its brewer Robinsons spending a penny on marketing. Robinsons Brewery’s director marketing also revealed that they’ve turned down opportunities to make a beer for MOTÖRHEAD

I do hope they keep producing Trooper Ale.  As you can read from a review I posted when I first got my hands on a bottle, it’s very delicous and it’s nice to find a pint of real English ale here in San Diego.  Up the Irons!
