Dark Subject Matter, is an imperial stout beer. It has a strong rich chocolate toasty malt flavor. Its chocolate smell is present to the nose when pouring. It is a tricky but silky smooth beer. It goes well with a sundae, or even a fine cigar. It is considered a “true crime podcast beer.”
One of my favorites!

Fun fact about the company is that each one of their beer labels is designed form local artist. Monday Night Brewing is based in Atlanta, Georgia and grew out of a Bible study.

I am extremely excited to be a part of the Beer Alien family! Just alittle bit about myself, I am a California native grew up in the beautiful city of San Diego, then moved to Virginia for a couple of years and in 2018 finally moved back to San Diego, so excited to be back! I absolutely love exploring new places with my boxer Layla, but my absolute favorite is checking out breweries and trying new beers! My favorite type of beer would be stouts and porters, love the rich, bold flavors that they have! My dad was the one who introduce me to craft beers, thanks dad! Our family trips always consist of checking out local breweries wherever we are! So excited to try some new stuff and hope my reviews helps!
