We are excited to announce that the Craft Beer Finance & Investment Conference is coming to San Diego, CA this August. It is going to be held August 24 & 25, 2016 in San Diego, CA at the Manchester Grand Hyatt
tanksExperience the only conference of the year focused solely on craft beer finance & investment! Every brewery hits a plateau where they need to bring in experts in various fields to help them continue growing. Whether you’re brewing 3000 barrels per year or 4 million, this is the conference where you’ll learn from, and network with, the industry experts who can help you get to the next level!  They have some high profile speakers already confirmed (executives from Merrill Lynch, Hess Brewing, Brewery Finance, Live Oak Bank, First Key, Bank of America, Baker Tilly, and the former owner of Carlsberg USA and Rhinegold Brewing).  They also have the support of the California Craft Brewers Association, the Ohio Brewers Guild, and some others.

Whether you’re a start-up, brewpub, microbrewer, or thinking about starting a brewery, industry experts will show you how to get the financing and investment you need to build/expand your business! Final speakers and topics are to be determined, but a preliminary schedule of what you can expect can be seen HERE.

*The Brewery Start-Ups Seminar is available as a stand-alone event ($750) or as an add-on to the full conference (see above). This seminar will cover some of the most crucial information for getting your new brewery off the ground! Planned topics include: how to get realistic start-up numbers, developing a marketing & brand strategy, and building a solid business plan for lenders and investors.
This event will give you the chance to talk directly with the experts in a small group setting. To make this possible, they have to keep the Seminar small – only 25 participants – so be sure to register today! This seminar will be held AUGUST 23, 2016  from 1:00 – 5:00PM.

About the Brewing & Distilling Network

logo@2xThe Craft Beer Finance & Investment Conference and The Brewery Start-Ups Seminar are hosted by The Brewing & Distilling Network. The Brewing & Distilling Network was founded at the request of several industry members who recognized the need for a new approach to brewing & distilling events. The larger industry association and other organizations do a great job with the larger issues and lobbying, but we recognized the need for events that focus solely on niche topics that affect brewers and distillers on a daily basis. Examples include: navigating federal regulations, budgeting and planning, the grain & hops supply chain, permitting & reporting, oak barrel sourcing, labeling requirements, marketing, and more. The Brewing & Distilling Network is a member of the Brewer’s Association. To learn more about what we do, visit www.brewdistill.com/about or check them out on their Twitter.
