Celebrate local brews and the brewers who make them! Taste craft beers from all across the state at the Baltimore Craft Beer Festival, presented by the Brewers Association of Maryland (BAM), on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 12 noon-6 pm at Canton Waterfront Park (3001 Boston Street, Baltimore, MD 21224). The event, held rain or shine, will include beer tastings from over 30 breweries from across the state, a homebrew competition, live music, corn hole games and delicious food from local food trucks and eateries. The VIP Pass is $55.00 (12 noon entry); General admission ranges from $35 (3:30 pm entry) to $45.00 (2:00 pm entry) for adults and $20.00 for designated drivers. There will also be a BAM Bus from various locations around the state for $75.00 and includes transportation to and from the festival as well as VIP access. The exciting one-day festival will feature several food vendors including BricknFire Pizza Company, Greek on the Street, Gypsy Queen Café, Kooper’s Chowhound Burger Wagon, Pie Time, The Choptank Oyster Company and the Smoking Swine. The featured bands playing at the festival include Chris Diller (12-2 pm); Big Hoax (2-4:00 pm) and Greasy Hands (4-6:00 pm). There will be a BAM Bus providing an all-inclusive roundtrip bus tour, including VIP tickets to the festival with pick-up and drop-off locations at White Marsh (Red Brick Station Restaurant & Brew Pub); Frederick (Barley and Hops Grill & Microbrewery); Cambridge (Realerivival Brewing); Eastern Shore (Somerset Plaza, Sponsored by Chesapeake Brewing Co.); Solomons Island (Ruddy Duck Brewery & Grill); Silver Spring (Denizens Brewing Co); and Southern MD (Scorpion Brewing).
Sponsored by Nepenthe Homebrew, local homebrewers can submit a “Harvest Ale” to be reviewed and judged by a panel of Head Brewers and festival attendees.
