Second Self Beer Company Valentine’s Day Inspired Amber Ale “Bleeding Heart”

Bleeding Heart

I’m excited to annouce that Second Self Beer Company, Georgia’s new craft brewery located in Atlanta, has released a limited edition Valentine’s Day inspired amber ale called “Bleeding Heart,” brewed with cocoa nibs and organic Madagascar vanilla and inspired by the recipe for a traditional, Southern red velvet cake. Co-founders Jason Santamaria and Chris Doyle have been developing this recipe for over six years, and red malts and cocoa lend the beer a festive red color.

“Bleeding Heart” is the first iteration of Second Self’s planned annual Valentine’s Day series. In future years, Second Self will release other versions of the same beer, including “Bitter Heart” (a dry hopped version) and “Wild Heart” (a sour version).

Be sure to follow us on Social Media to get to see our beer adventures live as we invade more breweries and discover more awesome craft beers from all over the world! Cheers humans!
